The LEAP Education Fellowships are tuition-based fellowships for Rutgers graduate students in the Department of Public Policy & Administration’s Educational Policy and Leadership Concentration. The Fellowships were established in order to recruit outstanding individuals to the field of education policy and also to attract teachers and administrators from the region to pursue graduate level studies at Rutgers. Persons selected for the fellowships are required to complete an internship at the LEAP Academy University Charter School. In exchange, students receive tuition assistance and a working stipend. The number of fellowships offered is determined annually. Selection is based on both academic and professional achievement.
