John J. Heldrich Institute for Leadership Development

The John J. Heldrich Institute for Leadership Development trains New Brunswick leaders to work collaboratively in establishing partnerships and stronger communities and neighborhoods.

With a population of 50,000 residents plus several thousand business, service, and college commuters each day, New Brunswick is one of the premier cities in the state.  The Heldrich Institute responds to the desperate need for development and cultivation of an expanded and diverse leadership base in the city.

The curriculum for this Institute focuses on leadership development, including skills in collaborative decision-making, team building, and conflict resolution in order to prepare leaders to assume new roles and responsibilities in their communities.
