The South Jersey Regional Leadership Institute (SJRLI) prepares a diverse cadre of leaders to address the socioeconomic needs and challenges facing the larger Delaware Valley region. The focus of the SJRLI is to build stronger communities in cities and underserved areas of South Jersey and to strengthen local leadership in order to promote collaborative strategic alliances, community development, and economic growth.
With more than 2.2 million people residing in South Jersey, the challenges facing this region are complex and demand comprehensive and collaborative approaches. The SJRLI identifies common regional issues and explores approaches and solutions intended to enhance regional development.
Training sessions are held monthly and participants benefit by improving their competencies in organizational and political savvy, resource development, strategic planning, and creative problem-solving.
