ELRA Preschool Program

Preparing Children for School Success

The two-year Preschool Program continues the work of ELRA’s Infant & Toddler Development Program and prepares students for success in kindergarten.

Each year, the ELRA Preschool offers full-day education to 240 children from Camden City and 20 non-Camden students, ages three to five.

The Preschool places a strong emphasis on writing, language, science and math education. It also incorporates dual-language instruction provides health services, and engages parents in the education process.

All ELRA classroom have a bilingual staff person.


ELRA’s Preschool Program is part of the Camden City Board of Education’s early childhood learning program and uses the Creative Curriculum in place in other Camden preschool centers.
